Here are the pieces-parts |
It's here! It's here! WooHoo! My new quilt stand has arrived...some assembly required....Can you tell that I am very happy! Okay, I know this has nothing to do with projects in process, but it is another tool that I use quite often.

TaDa! It is together. |
I do believe this one is going to work a lot better than my old one. I like how easy it is to adjust the height. See, I am vertically-challenged especially in chairs. I am 5'2" and I have a hard time finding a chair that allows my feet to touch the ground. My last hoop could not adjust to a chair that was comfortable for me so the hoop would almost be under my chin. I could choose to be in a comfortable chair or I could add pillows to give me the height I needed or dangle my feet from a taller chair. Hmm, hoop under my chin and sit in comfort or dangle feet and be able to see what I am quilting. Tough decision......not anymore!!
Look at all those notches! Lots of room for adjusting this one and to make it shorter. All righty then! No more excuses, I definitely need to finish my granddaughter's quilt now.

DeleteHow nice that our quilt stand has arrived! I know you are going to put it to very good use and create some beautiful things.
ReplyDeleteAlso want to mention that the photos of the bird in the post below are stunning!!!
That looks like a good hoop stand for your purposes. The legs do not look that much different from its predecessor. One of these days I will post a picture of mine. I can use mine sitting on the floor.
