It gave me more time to explore.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10803925425249925354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5903550633769774179.post-29758903460693485172011-12-09T10:31:29.158-08:002011-12-09T10:31:29.158-08:00That store is massive! I actually had a couple of them wrinkle their noses at the idea of using the old traditional way. That bothered me so much that I quit asking for help when I was younger. Not now!
I'm sure you will agree, it is the love of the journey in making the quilt. I have to admit that sometimes I am happy to be done with a quilt, but usually I am sad to finish it and to part with an old friend that I have spent many hours with over the years. I know this quilt inside out.
Oh no! Please don't switch to a machine. Your quilts are gorgeous!Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10803925425249925354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5903550633769774179.post-62677035439349790402011-08-16T20:19:36.872-07:002011-08-16T20:19:36.872-07:00Yep, the best advice about quilting comes from oth...Yep, the best advice about quilting comes from other quilters and there is good reading advice too.
Sometimes I think what I am doing might go faster by machine but I enjoy doing it all by hand the cheap way...make my own templates the size I want, mark and cut and sew by hand...Julie Fukudahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704374750710761269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5903550633769774179.post-8870560388793099012011-08-16T13:20:32.867-07:002011-08-16T13:20:32.867-07:00I look forward to seeing your projects, Michelle. ...I look forward to seeing your projects, Michelle.
